These guidelines explain how the Templytic team plans, researches, writes, reviews and updates the articles on our blog at https://templytic.com/. We want you to know how our content is made, so you can decide how much to rely on it.
Why we write
Templytic is a web agency. We build websites, online stores and apps and help businesses grow with SEO. The blog is where we share what we learn along the way: practical guides on WordPress, AI tools, SEO, digital marketing and earning online. Our goal is simple: clear, honest, useful articles that help you make better decisions and get real work done.
Who writes our articles
Our articles are written by the people who do the work every day:
- Logan Carter, Lead Web Developer, who writes mainly about WordPress, website performance and AI tools.
- Ethan Walker, Senior Web Developer, who covers front-end development, responsive design and WordPress themes.
- Caleb Brooks, UX/UI Designer, who writes about design, usability and user experience.
Every article shows its author, with a short bio and a link to their other articles, so you always know who is behind the advice.
How we choose topics
We write about questions our clients and readers ask us, problems we solve in our own projects, and tools we use or evaluate. We focus on topics where we have hands-on experience or can research thoroughly. We do not publish articles just to target keywords if we cannot add something genuinely useful.
Research and testing
- Hands-on first. Whenever possible, we install, use and test the tools, plugins and methods we write about, usually on test websites rather than client sites.
- Primary sources. We check facts against official documentation, changelogs, pricing pages and statements from the companies involved.
- Current information. We note prices, features and version details as they are when we write and check them again when we update an article.
- Clear limits. When something is our opinion, an estimate or based on limited testing, we say so.
Use of AI
We may use AI tools to assist research and drafting; every article is reviewed and edited by our team. A team member checks the facts, tests the steps where possible, adds our own experience and examples, and takes responsibility for what is published under their name. We do not publish AI-generated text without human review.
Reviews and recommendations
- We aim to explain who a product is for, what it does well and where it falls short.
- We compare alternatives, including free options, when they are relevant.
- Companies cannot pay for a better rating or a place in our lists.
- If we received a product for free, we disclose it in the article.
Affiliate links and independence
Some articles contain affiliate links, which may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never decide what we recommend or how we rate a product, and our writers choose recommendations on merit. Read our Affiliate Disclosure for full details.
Editing and review
Before publishing, each article is checked for accuracy, clarity, completeness and readability. We check that instructions work, that links point to the right places and that screenshots and examples match the current version of the tool where we can.
Keeping articles up to date
Tools and best practices in our field change quickly, so we review our most important and most-read articles regularly. When we make a meaningful update, such as new steps, changed prices or a new recommendation, the article shows its “Updated” date. Small fixes, like typos or broken links, may not change the date.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we want to fix it. When you report an error, we check it and correct the article as quickly as we can. If a correction changes the meaning of an article, we say so in the article.
Earning-online and money topics
We take extra care with articles about earning money online. We describe realistic effort, costs and risks, avoid “get rich quick” promises and never present example earnings as typical or guaranteed. These articles are general information, not financial advice.
Comments
We welcome questions and useful discussion in the comments. Comments are moderated: we remove spam, self-promotion, abuse and misleading claims. Helpful reader feedback often leads to updates of our articles.
