Effective date: October 20, 2026
We want to be open about how Templytic earns money from its blog, so you can judge our recommendations with all the facts. This disclosure follows the principles of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and similar rules in other countries.
What affiliate links are
Some links on our Site are affiliate links. When you click one and then buy a product or subscribe to a service, the seller may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same as if you went to the seller directly. Occasionally an affiliate link even gives you access to a discount or deal that is not available elsewhere.
Who we work with
Our articles cover tools for building and growing websites, so our affiliate partners are mainly:
- digital marketplaces for themes, templates, plugins and creative assets, such as Envato;
- software deal platforms, such as AppSumo;
- creator platforms and independent sellers, such as Gumroad;
- web hosting companies, website builders, WordPress plugins and themes;
- SEO, marketing, design and AI software.
This list is not complete and changes over time as we add or end partnerships.
Where you will find them
Affiliate links can appear in reviews, comparisons, “best of” lists, tutorials and resource pages, as text links, product boxes or buttons such as “Buy now”, “Get the deal” or “Visit website”. When an article contains affiliate links, assume that some of the product links in it may earn us a commission.
How it affects our content
- Our opinions are our own. We recommend products because we believe they are useful, based on our testing, experience and research, not because of the commission.
- No paid rankings. Companies cannot pay to be ranked higher or to receive a positive review.
- We mention downsides. We point out limitations and alternatives, including free options and products we do not earn from, when they are a better fit.
- Free products. If a company gives us free access to a product for review, we say so in the article. It does not oblige us to write a positive review.
- Sponsored content. If we ever publish an article that a company paid for, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored.
Prices and deals
Prices, discounts and deal terms are set by the sellers and can change at any time, including after we publish an article. Always check the current price and terms on the seller’s website before you buy. Your purchase is an agreement between you and the seller, who is responsible for the product, delivery, refunds and support.
Our agency work
As a web agency, we sometimes recommend hosting, themes, plugins or software to our clients. We recommend what suits each project. If we would earn a referral commission from a product we suggest to a client, we are happy to tell you; just ask.
Why we use affiliate links
Commissions help us keep the blog free to read and pay for the time we spend testing tools and keeping our guides up to date. Thank you for supporting Templytic when you buy through our links.
